COVID-19 Policy

Dear Customers and Employees of Morton Motor Express, Inc.

As concern and coverage about the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) grows, we would like to inform our families about our plans to address this concern and ensure we are implementing new guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the North Carolina State Health Department.  First and foremost, our goal is to keep everyone as safe as possible; this includes our customers, their families, our team, and their families as well.

This week, all of our service centers will be completing additional COVID-19 continuing education including: signs/symptom recognition, heightened infection control measures, and identifying resources which provide ongoing direction for protective measures.

Our proactive protocols included:

·       Frequent hand washing for 20 seconds using soap and water

·       Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are available at service centers and vehicles; however, we are conscious of conserving our supply and only recommending

use when soap and water are not available.

Gloves and Masks are provided for use at all times in outside facilities.

·       Employees with a fever or acute respiratory symptoms are instructed to stay home until they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours.

·       Team members will minimize hand to hand contact by forgoing handshaking at this time.

.       Facilities are professionally cleaned and sanitized.

We are doing our part to help prevent the spread by being prepared and proactive about the current climate.

Because this is a rapidly changing situation, local public health authorities have updated information regarding travel and other questions. Please contact your local health department for any additional questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Morton Motor Express, Inc.
